Development of schools for the Deaf in Cabra from 1846

| Liam Breen, Chairperson of Deaf Heritage Centre, will discuss his research on the early development of Deaf schools in Cabra. Liam is a qualified archivist and curator having trained in Maynooth University. He will describe how the education has impacted the Deaf community in the last 150 years and how it became nationally and internationally recognised in terms of educational excellence.
