GAELIC SUNDAY 1918 with Donal Fallon
4 October @ 6:30 pm
In 1918 British Authorities attempted to impose restrictions on sports, insisting on a permit system for Gaelic games. The GAA responded with the spectacular Gaelic Sunday on 4th August 1918 when more than 1500 matches were played in defiance of the ban. Donal is an Historian in Residence (Dublin City Council, North West Area).
