Pearl Harbour: Examining the ‘date which will live in infamy’ in its 75th anniversary year

The Japanese Navy’s attack on Pearl Harbour, Hawaii in December 1941 caused thousands of casualties and brought the US into WWII the very next day.

Cecelia Hartsell is a historian, specialising in American history and the Irish revolutionary period.  She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and is completing her Master’s degree in history at University College Dublin.
