The Third Reich in 100 Objects: A Material History of Nazi Germany with Roger Moorhouse
6 October @ 1:00 pm
Roger Moorhouse in conversation with Hugh Linehan.
No regime of the twentieth century has prompted such interest or such a body of literature as Hitler’s Third Reich. This is an accessible, compelling, sometimes shocking guide to the Third Reich that has been collated and presented by one of the world’s leading historians of Nazi Germany. The photographs gathered by Roger Moorhouse range from documents and postcards to weapons and personal effects such as Hitler’s Mercedes, the Messerschmitt 262, the Luger pistol, the Tiger Tank and of course the Swastika and Mein Kampf.
Roger Moorhouse has been a visiting professor at the College of Europe in Warsaw since 2016. His latest book is The Third Reich in 100 Objects: A Material History of Nazi Germany.
Hugh Linehan is Culture Editor of the Irish Times.
