DIAS Dunsink Observatory

Dunsink Observatory has been the national observatory for astronomy since 1783 and has been the home to some of Ireland’s greatest scientists, including Sir William Rowan Hamilton. Today, the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies run the observatory for meetings, school tours and public events. Join DIAS Astrophysics researchers at these open nights to learn all about astrophysics.
