The Dublin Metropolitan Cattle Market was a vital part of the community around the North Circular Road and Prussia Street junction in the 19th century and continued to be so until the 1970s when the operation ceased. Mary will talk about the history of the cattle market, the work that was done there and its importance to the local area, which was shaped for many years by the Market and its associated businesses.
