ROSIE HACKETT AND THE ROSIE HACKETT BRIDGE

In 2014 the Rosie Hackett Bridge over the River Liffey was officially opened. This lecture will tell the story of how the bridge came to be named, and discuss the life of Rosie Hackett, an Irish revolutionary and trade unionist who lived in Marino for several decades before her death in 1976.
