with Mary Muldowney (Historian in Residence, Dublin City Council, Central Area)

St Agatha’s Hall

04/10/2019 at 6:30pm

Dublin Corporation employee William Mooney took a series of photographs of Dublin in the 1970s, including one of a derelict cottage in Ballybough that was covered in graffiti. Mary will show some of the marvellous pictures taken by Mooney and others in that decade, and will discuss the changes in Ballybough and North Strand then and in the meantime. Sharing of memories and stories prompted by the photographs will be welcomed.
