An Introduction to Business Collections at Dublin City Archive
October 12 @ 1:10 pm - 1:45 pm

As well as safeguarding the city’s civic records, Dublin City Archive houses hundreds of private collections that provide colour and context to any study of Dublin’s development. Among these are archives of numerous Dublin businesses, including Jacob’s Biscuit Factory, Findlater & Co Merchants, and Edward Lee & Co drapers.
Join Fionnuala Parfrey, archivist with Dublin City Archives, for this talk on business collections at Dublin City Library and Archive. The talk will highlight some of the stories that emerge from these fascinating business records, explain how researchers can access them and spotlight some of the archive’s recent business accessions.
