Between the Bridges’ – Bloody Sunday Bridge on Jones’ Road and ‘Luke Kelly’ bridge in Ballybough

A 2km walk through the historic area of Clonliffe and Ballybough with stories from the 17th century onwards. Visit the National Famine way, the less known but fascinating Mud Island and its smuggling King, and hear about the Irish National Anthem, Bloody Sunday November 21, 1920, amazing local football stories and Muhammad Ali’s Dublin fight of 1972.
Your local guide Sean Deegan grew up in Ballybough and is a member of the Independent Tour Guides Association (I.T.G.A.) and a guide with Dublin City Council Culture Company in 14 Henrietta Street.
