2023 marks the 50th anniversary of Horslips seminal album ‘The Táin’. Based on the Irish saga Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle Raid of Cooley), part of the Ulster Cycle of heroic tales, it tells of the war caused by Queen Maeve’s plotting to steal the white bull Donn Cúailgne.

In this special event Horslips band members Jim Lockhart and Barry Devlin will talk to Doireann Ní Bhriain about their inspiration and musicianship making the album.
