Civil War Anniversary Tour
October 12 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

The 24th of May 2023 marked 100 years since the Irish Civil War came to an end, putting a stop to a brutal conflict that has left a lasting legacy on Irish society and politics.
In this tour the Irish Civil War will be contextualised within its social, political and economic roots, its ties to the Easter Rising in 1916, and The War of Independence. Discover the events that tore families and friends apart as they found themselves on opposing sides of the battle over what Irish freedom meant to them.
Notes: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There are some flashing lights and loud noises in the exhibition.
Please note booking for this event will be available from 12 September.
