Drimnagh – A History
September 28 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Presented by the Community Library Service.
Today, Drimnagh is a well-established suburb on the southside of the City of Dublin.
But few realise the long and interesting history this area has, with Neolitic settlements, a castle and stories of Normans, ghosts and conflicts with the natives.
In more recent times, farmland and brickfields covered the area, before the houses we see today were built.
Join Cathy Scuffil, DCC’s Historian-in-Residence for a fascinating journey through the history of this area.
