Join Dublin’s Historian in Residence for Children, Dervilia Roche, for this family walking tour in Dublin city centre. Families will be following the route of the Hidden Histories treasure hunt, solving clues, and discovering some of the hidden parts of the city’s history.

Suitable for children aged 9-12 with accompanying adults. Children will not be admitted on the walking tour without an adult.

Hidden Histories treasure hunt can also be completed as a self-guided activity. Pick up the map from Central Library or download a pdf and print it out.

This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather. The route crosses several busy roads so children must be supervised for their safety. The route is 3km. The finish point is a 2km direct walk back to the start, and is close to public transport options.
