Festival of History at DIAS Dunsink Observatory

October 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us at Dunsink Observatory for a night-long celebration of space and history — from Ireland’s rich and colourful history of exploring the universe, to our role in making future discoveries beyond our atmosphere.

Throughout the night we’ll have talks, conversation and, weather permitting, some stargazing — all in the historic surroundings of Dunsink Observatory. Meet the scientists at the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies (DIAS) who are expanding our understanding of the universe and the Dunsink team who care for the history and future of the observatory.

Directions to the Observatory are available at dunsink.dias.ie/gettinghere/, our Eircode is D15 XR2R. Please note that you must enter Dunsink Lane on the Navan Road side, access is completely blocked on the Finglas side.

Note: Limited spaces, booking essential.
