History Tour of Pearse Lyons Distillery

Pearse Lyons Distillery invites you to explore the rich history and heritage surrounding the former St. James Church, and how it came to be a distillery. Discover the stories of the people who worked in this part of the Liberties that was once known as “The Golden Triangle” of Irish Whiskey.
With burial records dating back to the 11 Century, this engaging tour will bring you through 800 years of history.
The tour will also focus on the restoration of the St. James Church by the Lyons family from 2013-2017, before the craft distillery opened its doors to the public.
