Presented by the Dublin City Council Archaeology and Heritage sections, in association with the Industrial Heritage Association of Ireland. This lecture will focus on the industrial heritage of the south-eastern area of Dublin City.

This area has a rich industrial history including mining and quarrying, watermills, windmills, breweries, distilleries and factories, power stations and gas works and numerous transport facilities such as roads, canals, railways, docks and part of Dublin port.

The speaker, Rob Goodbody, will discuss these features and the Dublin City Industrial Heritage Record (DCIHR), which was developed as an action of the Dublin City Heritage Plan
