More Than Concrete Blocks: reflecting on the wins and losses in Dublin’s 20th century architectural history

September 30, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In this event, Ellen Rowley and Carole Pollard will draw out the links between Dublin’s buildings and Dublin’s political, social, cultural and economic histories.

By focusing on architecture as the central thread in the story of the city in formation, 1900–2000, both historians will discuss and illustrate the relationship between architecture, housing and people in Dublin City.
