A guided walk in the Inchicore/Kilmainham area, from the Grand Canal to Old Kilmainham, the Royal Hospital and the Camac, ending near Kilmainham Mill.

Local historian Francis Thackaberry will illustrate the significance of waterways, water supply and transport in the historic settlement and development of the area and take in other aspects of the area’s rich history, as seen in the heritage encountered along the route.

This event is presented by the Kilmainham Inchicore Heritage Group.
