The Story of the Dame Street “Tower”

The Central Bank of Ireland are very excited to host this event discussing the story of Sam Stephenson’s Dame Street “Tower” which was previously the Bank’s headquarters, situated in Dublin City centre.
The talk will cover topics such as the controversy surrounding the buildings planning permission and height; the construction of Ireland’s only suspended building; thought’s of the public on the Brutalist style of the building; the staffs reactions to their new hi-tech work environment and ultra-modern furnishings; and the preservation of the Commercial Buildings.
The event will be held on Thursday, September 30th at 6.30pm.
