‘The Work Before Us’ Centenary of the Irish Tourist Association

The Irish Tourist Association (ITA) was established in January 1925 as a result of a Conference held in Government Buildings in Dublin, under the Presidency of the Minister for Industry and Commerce of the new Irish State. The ITA was Ireland’s first official National Tourism Body and would go on to lay the foundation for modern tourism in Ireland. This event is hosted by the Dublin City Tourism Unit in CHQ in the lead up to the centenary of the founding of the Irish Tourist Association in January 2025.
This talk will be given by Barry Rogers, Head of Dublin City Tourism Unit.
