Writing Family Histories with Julie Morrissy and Darina Sikmashvili

Morrissy and Sikmashvili will facilitate a creative writing workshop in poetry and fiction exploring the themes of archive and family history.
Morrissy was the first Poet in Residence at the National Library of Ireland, where she worked on her poetry pamphlet Radical! Women and the Irish Revolution.
Sikmashvili has taught at the University of Michigan and Hewes House NYC.
This workshop is open to all levels, and is a unique opportunity to experiment across genres while exploring family histories.
The workshop will facilitate 20 participants and corresponds with the Literary Grandmothers / літературні бабусі event on Thursday, 26 September.
