Since 1998 the Documents on Irish Foreign Policy (DIFP) series has been publishing archival documents on Ireland’s foreign relations since 1919, to make them more accessible.

Now, with the fourteenth volume in the series due out before the end of the year, covering the period 1969 to 1973, DIFP will be publishing primary sources on two of the biggest issues in modern Irish history: the outbreak of the Troubles from 1969 onwards and our membership of the EEC/EU from 1973.

The discussion panel includes; John Gibney and Michael Kennedy and will be chaired by David McCullagh.
