Donaghmede library is delighted to present ‘Being Behan’ as part of The Dublin Festival of History.

Join award winning poet Dave Lordan to mark 100 years since the birth of Brendan Behan.

Dave will discuss Behan’s life and work as well as his politics and the social context which influenced his work.

Dave will also read selected passages from Behan’s work.

Note: The event itself will take place outside the library in the shopping centre (opposite the Drapery Department of Dunnes Stores). May contain strong language and adult themes.
