Dublin City Council Historian in Residence Dr James Curry will examine the careers of two legendary players in the history of Shelbourne Football Club: Val Harris and Tony Sheridan.
A versatile performer who starred for Everton FC and the Ireland senior team prior to the outbreak of the First World War, Val Harris returned to Shelbourne in 1914 and re-established himself as one of the club’s greatest players.
Tony Sheridan joined Shelbourne FC in August 1995 and by the end of the campaign had become a Tolka Park icon after helping Shels win the FAI Cup for a fifth time. Entry to GAA Museum included.
