South Circular Road: 1911

October 5 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Dublin in 1911 was a city facing into a decade of local, national and international importance, but citizens lived out their daily lives with no idea of the historic times in their immediate futures.

Whilst much has been documented of life in the city tenements at this time, especially in the Liberties, what was life like on the outer fringes of this area, an area where town and countryside met, the South Circular Road?

Join Dublin City Council Historian in Residence, Cathy Scuffil, as she brings you on a journey along the South Circular Road in 1911.

Booking: Call Kevin Street library on 01 222 8488 or email kevinstreetlibrary@dublincity.ie.
